Culinary Tip Committee
Nominations are now open for the Culinary Tip Committee for the year 2019-2020. There are two positions to be filled. Nomination forms can be found on the union board. Completed nomination forms must be submitted by Friday, September 20th.
Casino Tip Committee
Please be advised the result of the Tip Committee election for the year 2019 – 2020 as follows:
TABLE GAMES: Charito Bauldry, Mark Chun, Rita Hamilton
SLOTS: Tony Trinh, Edeliza Madriaga
GUEST SERVICES: Beverly Beggs
CAGE: Umesh Kumar
The new Tip Committee will be responsible for the administration and distribution of all gratuities to team members working in the four departments included in the tip pool.
The members of this committee will choose amongst themselves a Chairperson and will soon have their first meeting in September.
Let us welcome and congratulate our new Tip Committee members! Thank you to the outgoing Tip Committee for their hard work during the last year.
Note: The Tip Committee is managed by the membership directly and does not fall under the authority of either the Union or the Employer – except for those details included in the Collective Agreement.
The Employer has announced that there will be a shift pick for Table Games starting on September 18, 2019. Dates for other departments are unknown at this point.
