July 7 from 8 am to noon
July 8 from noon to 4 pm

Friendship Centre
Starbucks on Hastings Street at McLean Drive
July 28 from 11 am to 3 pm

For the employees of:          Vancouver Aboriginal Friendship Centre Society

In the bargaining unit defined as employees at 1607 East Hastings Street, Vancouver, B.C., except the Executive Director, Financial Comptroller, Maintenance Supervisor, Young Parents Support Supervisor and Program Director.

The wording on the ballot will be:

ARE YOU IN FAVOUR OF A STRIKE?

YES        NO 

Note:       All employees in the Bargaining Unit, whether or not they are members of trade unions taking a vote conducted under Section 60, are eligible to vote and shall be given a reasonable opportunity to vote.

This dispute arises from the failure of the Employer to agree to terms and conditions of employment for employees in the Bargaining Unit.
