The arbitrator who is deciding the Deputy Sheriff, Sergeant and Staff Sergeant Reference Jobs recently asked the union and Public Service Agency classification representatives a number of questions to clarify some of the evidence and issues arising from their respective submissions.
We anticipate the arbitrator will be able to provide her decision by mid-June. We will provide another update as information becomes available.

Deputy Sheriff Benchmark Hearing Update - BCGEU
This is to report that the BCGEU’s evidence and arguments for the benchmark reviews for Deputy Sheriffs, Sergeants and Staff Sergeants have been submitted to the arbitrator. The arbitrator will now consider our union’s case and render a decision.
