Members at Gateway Grand Villa - Bargaining update - BCGEU
We met for three days with the employer this week to discuss monetary proposals. The employer gave us their proposal for wages, benefits and other key items and it wasn't good enough. We replied with a counter offer and we have a meeting with the employer set for August 31 where they will provide a response. We may meet even sooner if dates open up in the week of August 27.

Three-year agreement for thousands of B.C. government workers - BCGEU
VICTORIA - Thousands of British Columbia public service workers have ratified a three-year contract agreement giving them an annual 2 per cent wage increase.
The agreement covers workers who provide social, environmental and pubic safety services, as well as Liquor Distribution Branch employees and some of those who work at the BC Pension Corp.

BCGEU health care members ratify three-year deal - BCGEU
Members of a multi-union group working in B.C. community living homes and services have voted to accept a new three-year employment contract, eight months before the existing contract expires. BCGEU community health workers vote to accept new agreement - BCGEU
Burnaby- Community health sector workers, represented by the B.C. Government and Service Employees' Union (BCGEU) have voted strongly in favour of a tentative agreement reached with health employers.
