This is an update on the status of negotiations between the BCGEU and Well-Being Services Ltd. (Nanaimo Seniors Village).
The parties held two additional days of bargaining on November 13 and 14, 2019 and have now addressed more than three quarters of all non-monetary proposals. Further, the parties discussed all of the remaining non-monetary proposals and are working on their responses.
We are pleased to announce that members voted 100 per cent in favour of accepting the terms of the tentative agreement.
